The date for Thanksgiving varies. In The USA Thanksgiving is always on the fourth Thursday of November, and in Canada on the second Monday of October.
These dates for 2013 are
- American Thanksgiving 2013 falls on Thursday November 28th
- Canadian Thanksgiving 2013 falls on Monday October 14th
The origin and meaning of Thanksgiving
comes in varied stories, but it is generally accepted that it is
related (in some way or another) to the end of a successful harvest, and
the blessing that comes from knowing the family will be fed throughout
